On board the Philippine Navy’s Britten Norman Islander, a fixed wing 8 seater aircraft, Roy Van Morales of the Subic Bay Photography Society flew over the waters of Bolinao, Pangasinan to meet the newest Philippine Navy vessel the BRP Ramon Alcaraz.
BRP Ramon Alcaraz is the second warship acquired by the Philippine government to beef up the Philippine Fleet. The BRP Ramon Alcaraz is a Hamilton Class warship acquired from the US Coast Guard.
It was welcomed and escorted by BRP Gregorio Del Pilar in the waters of Bolinao Pangasinan heading to Suibic Bay for the welcoming rites to be held on Tuesday to be lead by Pres. Aquino.
BRP Gregorio Del Pilar is another Hamilton Class warship.
Navy pilot LT AB G GINETE JR PN gives the thumbs up after a successful landing back at Philippine Naval Base Heracleo Alano in Sangley Point, Cavite City. The plane was in the air for more than 4 hours from Cavite to Pangasinan and back.
